So glad we chose Freycinet charters for the half day tour!! Had a fantastic tour to Hazards beach, Wineglass Bay beach and Schouten Island! We were picked up from Freycinet lodge at 8.45 by Stephen and taken to the main Coles Bay jetty. We left the jetty in a boat that was very well equipped to take care of us. It had life jackets, warm jackets, water, towels and a small toilet. We were given some safety instructions before we left. Erin ,who was on board, was extremely friendly and gave us a lot of information as we went speeding into the ocean. We first got off at Hazards Beach, looked around and then walked to Wineglass bay beach (around 30 mins easy walk). After spending some time there we walked backed to Hazards Beach, boarded the boat and went to Schouten Island. There was absolutely nobody on the beach and was absolutely beautiful!! We then got back on the boat and were dropped to the main jetty. On the return , we saw a seal colony and a 30 year old eagles nest with an eagle perched up on a tree branch. We got back to the jetty at 2 pm. Both Erin and Stephen were extremely warm and friendly. This was one of the best day trips that we have ever have. An absolute must do when in Coles bay!!
